Ah, so that’s why they call them ‘fire stations’!

Friday blog

I know I should be researching and writing my own blogs. But when I came across this 4-minute YouTube video about a rather embarrassing situation in Germany concerning the wonderfully explosive features of electric vehicles with lithium ion batteries, I thought it might amuse those of my readers who are not yet convinced that electric milk floats pretending to be cars are necessarily the transport medium of choice for our future.

Enjoy:

Dont jump to the wrong conclusions based on limited evidence. I am reminded of the Luton airport carpark fire. There were claims that was a battery land rover with views that flames shooting out from the side were from the location of the battery. It turned out not to be a battery car. I had to check the airport name and the report I found said there was smoke coming out of the engine compartment when the car entered the building. There is no mention about why the owner apparently parked and left it. I also think that that building did not have sprinklers.

I agree that the German report is not clear and that results in speculation because of lack of informations. The news last night was reporting on the summer riots with Nigel Farage being blamed for inciting riots by some. He was just asking for more information.

The issue from these incidents is why is information being withheld when it is clearly available. But in the case of both fires the building designs seem to be inadequate for their purpose. I said on your previous blog that if governments have a purpose it must be to protect us. We constantly see their failure to do so.
