Here’s something to cheer us all up on a Monday morning
America leads
A few years ago, my wife and I went on a round-the-world trip for 3-4 months. This included a couple of months travelling around America by train. However, looking at what is happening in many American cities, I’m not sure I’d want to go back there again. In every city run by Democrats we seem to be seeing the same process – what I’ve called ‘the doom-loop of de-civilisation’. The Democrats implement progressive, inclusive policies; many crimes (such as shoplifting less than $1,000) are decriminalised; the police are defunded; offenders are not caught and not prosecuted; many firms leave inner-city areas which increasingly become homelessness-, drug- and crime-ridden no-go areas;
productive citizens give up and movc away; as the tax base shrinks and welfare dependency grows taxes have to be raised; more firms and employees leave; the people who remain are more likely to vote Democrat and so this reinforces Democrat control and the doom-loop of de-civilisation continues:

The situation is so bad in San Francisco that there are even doom-loop walking tours:
And one resident wrote a book called ‘San Fransicko – Why Progressives Ruin Cities’:
Sadly what is happening in San Francisco is being repeated in most Democrat-run cities – Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago, New York etc etc.
Will Britain follow?
Perhaps one could also start constructing a doom-loop of de-civilisation for Britain?

Climate nonsense exposed – yet again
By the way, there’s a great article by The Daily Sceptic’s climate writer summing up the whole climate con:
and there’s a not so great article by theDaily Mail’s Andrew Pierce who has apparently picked up on Mayor Khan’s ‘C40 Cities’ eco-crusade which I told you about last week and which Neil Oliver covered last Saturday evening:

Short answer – Yes, we are. And unless or until TPTB acknowledge where we are currently heading, get a grip on reality and bring a total halt to the depravity and degeneracy in which the West is wallowing, our overall Decline and Fall will accelerate exponentially. What kind of society tells children they can change sex at will, thus denying biological reality, which sanctions as acceptable entertainment for those children the obscenity of adult scantily clad males “twerking”? Which encourages law enforcers displaying symbols of their affiliations to prance in the streets or facilitate the actions of idiots blocking the highways to legitimate vehicles – including ambulances conveying emergency patients to hospitals – rather than clear them out of the way? And don’t even get me started on Net Zero, the wilful abandonment of the means of a reliable national power supply, the mass deception of CO2 Global Boiling “settled science” and the ghastly Kann be Sadist and his extended ULEZ! Fact is that if as a society the collective West doesn’t very soon wake up to the evils of progressivism and fake “science” and take action to reverse their effects, while concurrently openly embracing all the wonders of REAL modern scientific and medical advances and what these could and should be doing to improve life for us plebs, we are indeed doomed. It is far from impossible that the clearly senile Buy Den across the Pond will be re-elected next year for another term and that we shall at the same time suffer the horrors of PM Sir Kneel. (Not that he could be much worse than what we currently have.) And wasn’t it the current States VP, the unspeakable (or rather the constantly cackling) Kamala Harris, who legitimised thefts of goods to the value of up to 1,000 dollars when she was DA in San Francisco? I hope she is taking pride in the Doom Loop tours, the creation of which she was instrumental in bringing about. We all know how Le Micron, having trousered millions from the UK, continues to expedite the small boat invasion of our Southern Border. Meanwhile, TPTB in Germany are doing their best to criminalise AfD, the only Party to take a realistic stance on Germany’s deteriorating social and economic condition and I read today that here the banks evidently continue their persecution of anyone (plus their relatives) of whose opinions or politics they disapprove. Richard Tice, leader of Reform, is it seems one of their victims. I naturally associate, as do most of us, with people of our own generation. I am ancient and amongst my acquaintances I find two distinct classes of opinion. There are those who have retreated into old age, knowing that things aren’t too good but choosing to literally cultivate their gardens, eschew “the internet” and anything to do with it, potter around local shops and watch a bit of junk TV. Others, like me, are very aware of how the Nation we were brought up to be proud of, for which our fathers fought and died and our mothers suffered, is accelerating into multi-cultural lawlessness and depravity. We equally know, though, that there’s precious little we can do about it. The ballot box has no power for us locally, living as we do in a constituency with a huge Tory majority.
The deterioration of cities is something that could be sorted out but there doesnt seem to be the will to do anything about any problem. Last week Sunak was boasting about reduced migrants crossing of the Channel being proof of his policies working, when it was the effect of bad weather. The GB News interviewer did not pick him up on it. Now the crossings are higher than ever. Nobody in my street seems to care about the weeds growing on the pavements outside their houses. I clear them all outside my house. The politicians seem to represent the views of the masses very well. Peter Whittle was discussing the decline on the New Culture Forum a few days ago. The decline is everywhere and at every level. All we get from politicians is that we can vote for change at elections. We cant, because there is no choice that will bring change.
As Stillreading says the depravity and degeneracy should be of concern. We had enough crazy ideas in the past with witchcraft and burning and drowning of supposed witches, and the threats to scientists opposing the views of the church. Now it seems even worse. The idea that we can change sex makes witchcraft look sane, and fake scientists are celebrated. I have seen several views claiming human IQ is declining and it looks likely.
The climate article supports what I have been saying for sometime, and it is an issue seen every time the GBNews presenters discuss net zero policies. They clearly believe that carbon dioxide is changing the climate and this means when they have climate activists on the programme they dont have an argument to prove them wrong because the activists always talk about the fake science. Trapped heat cannot cause any warming and yet people believe it can. Nobody takes a thermos flask to bed to keep warm.
There were many reasons for the collapse of the Roman Empire and it did not happen suddenly. I think the signs of collapse have been with us for over 100 years, starting in the early 1900s or even going back to the French Revolution which changed the nature of wars. The two world wars were completely avoidable in my view but politicians want power and control. Britain did not want to lose its dominance and the USA saw a chance to become the dominant power. That is what the wars were about. The USA has continued wars ever since and has militarily presence around the world. Add in the economic depression that created the printing of money and central banks to do it, thanks to politicians accepting the economic strategy of Keynes. This again was mainly the USA wanting to make the dollar the reserve currency and the wars and bankrupting Britain was the method they used to achieve it. Money has been made worthless and debt is now so high that the repayments are not sustainable. It is a Ponzi scheme that is failing. The currencies will have to be devalued to their true value. This will mean our assets and savings will have perhaps only 10% of their present value but our debt will remain unchanged. The governments know this which could be why they have given up on everything else. The CBDCs are their only answer which is devaluation using a different name to hide the truth. I think they are too afraid to implement it because they are afraid of the consequences.
