Our rulers’ recidivist failures
Something strange is happening.
Across the supposedly ‘advanced’ West our rulers can’t protect our borders, can’t supply electricity, can’t supply water, can’t control rising crime and can’t educate our children.
In Britain, in spite of the number of managers in the civil service rising by 56% in the last six years, our rulers can’t supply passports or driving licences. And, in spite of the number of managers in the NHS shooting up from 25,000 in 1979 to around 40,000 today, our health service is collapsing and many thousands of people will die prematurely due to lack of timely access to treatment.
But the one thing our rulers haven’t yet wrecked is our food supply. Our supermarkets are bulging with food and, in spite of rising prices, most people can afford to feed themselves and their families. In fact, we have so much food that about a third of it – 88 million tons per year across Europe (174 kg per person per year) – is thrown away. In the West, obesity is a bigger problem than starvation.
But it seems that now even our food supply is being put into danger by our bungling/mendacious politicians.
Nobody ever mentioned fertilisers
As you probably know, the governments of the Netherlands, Germany, Canada and New Zealand have pledged to reduce the use of nitrogen-based fertilisers. The Australian government is also reported to be considering this as well:
I don’t claim to be a expert in anything. But when I did research for my recent book THERE IS NO CLIMATE CRISIS, I read twelve books and probably over 100 articles about supposed ‘Climate Change’. Yet not once in my research did I come across anyone mentioning nitrogen-based fertilisers as a contributor to supposed man-made global warming. In fact, I’ve just checked the indexes of all twelve books and not a single one of them includes any reference to nitrogen-based fertilisers.
Do you believe nitrous oxide will kill us all?
The logic for cutting the use of nitrogen-based fertilisers is apparently that the greenhouse gas nitrous oxide comes from the denitrification of nitrates in soils, and the pollutant ammonia comes the volatilisation of nitrogen fertilisers. And we’re told that ‘nitrous oxide is almost 300 times more potent than carbon dioxide’.
If we look at the standard analysis of our atmosphere’s composition, we see that nitrogen makes up over 70% of the atmosphere:
CO2 is usually featured, but only accounts for 0.04% (400 parts per million) of the atmosphere. However, there is no mention of the supposedly deadly nitrous oxide.
If we move into a more detailed view of just those gases considered to be ‘greenhouse gases’, we do find nitrous oxide:
There is less than a tenth the amount of nitrous oxide than CO2. So I suppose nitrous oxide must constitute about 0.003% of our atmosphere – say 30 parts per million. Though, if nitrous oxide really is ‘300 times more potent than CO2’�as a greenhouse gas, I guess that would outweigh the fact that there is vanishingly little of it.
It’s very strange that up till now the supposedly ‘deadly’ nitrous oxide hasn’t featured more prominently in the rantings and ravings of the climate catastrophists. After all, if we are to believe nitrous oxide is�‘300 times more potent than CO2’�as a greenhouse gas, then it’s nitrous oxide rather than CO2 which the Extinction Rebellion narcissists should be protesting about.
Why now? Why all acting together?
But possibly even more strange is why suddenly several major western countries -�Netherlands, Germany, Canada and New Zealand and possibly soon Australia – have all decided together that nitrous oxide will wipe out mankind. A conspiracy theorist might be tempted to suggest that this is some new wheeze thought up by the World Economic Forum Davos elites to push up food prices driving us proles into poverty and subservience. As Kissinger once warned:
We’ve seen the disaster in Sri Lanka when the country’s utterly incompetent and utterly corrupt government banned fertiliser use. Crop yields fell by 20% to 50% (depending on the type of crop), food prices more than doubled and the economy collapsed. Though perhaps the $20bn reportedly looted by the ruling Rajapaksa family and their cronies also played a not unimportant part in that unfortunate country’s implosion. As for the Rajapaksas, they’ve managed to ensure that the country is still run by their venal cronies, so there is no risk for them of prosecution and imprisonment.
Bankrupting farmers?
Farming is an industry with mainly fixed costs. Depending on the acreage farmed you will need a certain number of things like tractors, combine harvesters and much else. Should your fertiliser use be constrained by your political overlords and your crop yields fall by say 10% or 20%, you still have the costs of your equipment while your earnings drop. Thus reduction in fertiliser use will probably bankrupt many farmers.
Why are our rulers knowingly doing this?
Cutting our food supply?
This is not the first attack on our food supply by our rulers.
First came the mandated use of inefficient biofuels which reduced the acreage available for food production. Then came the huge subsidies paid to farmers to move land from producing food to being used for solar farms and windfarms. Then came the subsidies paid to farmers to further reduce food production by rewilding their land. And now farmers will be crushed by legal restrictions on fertiliser use.
Meanwhile environmental groups funded by billionaires have bought up over 3.5 million acres of the USA’s 915 million acres of agricultural land and our favourite computer systems salesman, ‘Farmer’ Bill Gates, has spent about $690 million buying up around 169,000 acres of farmland. The billionaire media mogul Ted Turner is reported to own 2 million acres. It’s not clear why billionaires are snapping up America’s farmland. Do they want to produce food?� Or produce more organic food? Or restrict the amount of food being produced? Or harvest generous taxpayer subsidies by either producing crops for biofuels or by rewilding their land?
Who knows?
But whatever their plans, they’re unlikely to be in our best interests.
Meanwhile, there seem to be increasing numbers of articles in the mainstream media about how insects and seaweed and jellyfish and much else can soon be used as food replacing things like meat and fish. Why is this happening?

I am now suspicious that the earlier warnings about nitrogen from fertilisers getting into rivers and causing algae growth/harming water life was just an intro to this (and possibly to disguise the sewage being dumped in rivers), allowing our victorian water systems to go unrepaired for generations and the privatised water cos to make billions from us.
Can anything our politicians have said ever be relied on for truth?
It is pretty clear this is being centrally co-ordinated presumably via UN/wef agenda 2030 etc. For some reason these bodies have decided the wealth and prosperity that has emerged via Adam Smith’s invisible hand needs to be replaced with a centrally planned soviet union imposed globally along Trotskyite ideals.
It also appears the Uk is very very keen to embrace all this madness. I would go as far to say as we are pretty much leading it rather like our apparent enthusiasm for creating a third world war with Russia. Why the British state appears to be pursuing chaos and destruction is anybodies guess but presumably it is buried deep in the psyche of empire to divide and conquer.
Not sure Liz T is going to be able to change much of this. She is already hinting where the red lines are. Net zero and waging war with Russia seem to be untouchable.
I�m beginning to think that getting them to back off from net zero is as improbable as anyone fixing the NHS.
We had brexit to get away from the tyranny of the EU, to govern ourselves and what has happened? Our �leaders� have sold their souls to the WEF instead and we, the peasants, have no say int the matter.

So how is it that old crusties like me are reverting into student radicals like from the sixties, and the students of today are being led like a line of sheep towards the cliff edge, happy not to look as they all want to do their bit for the planet ?
Are these �24,000.00 a year green studies pupils really stacking up such debts in the belief that they will get a return and that theirs is a well thought out good cause ?.
Even the daily Mail on Saturday had a very good one page article of the totall folly of the DRAX power station , why it is not green, why the UK tapayer is forking out �839 Million in subsidies each year on this carbuncle, but still people like Truss and Sunnik cling on and will not step up and say they will overturn this lunacy.
Meanwhile, 2 mile down the road, a cruise ship sits in the dock at Leith with 740 Ukranian refugees shackled in the hold. The rooms do not have a balcony or even windows. This is worse than any normal prison cell in the UK.
The Scottish government got round all you silly English buggers who have to extend personal invitations to these people, by inviting them here at the direct invitation of the Scottish Government.There is no cap or limit on numbers. So, so that Sturgeon can show that “Scotland will always send out a warm welcome to refugees” another prison hulk is being organised to sit in the Clyde estuary.
I see rows of Glaswegian transgender teens forming a line outside their local bookshop to get a copy of “Ukranian for Dummies” , ready to cash in on Ukranian sexual emergencies now that the herring are gone and the mackarel gone, and the cod gone, and the people have been driven off thir croft and replaced by sheep/ cattle/ forests, off road bikes, paint ball competitions, grouse shooting, windmills, and English campers who steal our best frogs. We are left with the defastation and as Prince Charles says ” we are four cream teas before disaster”
You start by taking about our rulers and Neil Oliver ends by talking about trusting the authorities. What does it say about us? We are not free and never have been. Carolyn gets it right when she says we have no say in the matter. The great delusion that has been created came with universal suffrage and the belief that it, and democracy, put us in control through the ability to change our representatives if we are not satisfied, believing they are our servants and that the justice system gives us a means of redress when things go wrong. Rousseau got it right 300 years ago when he said “Man is born free, but everywhere is in chains.”
You say our rulers have not wrecked the food supplies yet but the supermarkets have done a good job of destroying the farming industry by forcing costs to a level where farmers are being forced out of business. This has all been done with support from the masses who enjoy cheap food without any thought about the consequences. It has been exactly the same with cheap imports that have destroyed UK jobs. The manufacturing jobs we have here are mainly supplied by foreign companies. The masses are supporting the destruction of our economy. The WEF does not have to do anything but wait and a world socialist utopia will be created for them by our ignorance and stupidity.
The latest greenhouse craze will be soaked up without a second thought and the cries to eliminate fossil fuels will increase. The masses understand little and question nothing, which is what the education system is designed to produce.
The countries are acting together because they are all socialists. They have given up on revolutions because they worked out that we respond to promises of welfare and safety and are unable to see the consequences. Their philosophy is that only they can control economies. Ludwig Von Mises gave a lecture in 1944 about free trade and war. Free trade worked to create wealth until the banks, corporations and governments got their hands on it and changed it into capitalism which they control and not the markets. Von Mises pointed out that governments can only control what happens within the boundaries of their countries and when they run out of resources they have to go to war to try to obtain more. This is exactly what Hitler realised. He wanted to expand Germany to the east to get more land and access to food supplies. Europe is in the same position today, with a huge population and limited resources and based on an economy that does not support free trade with other countries. I suspect this is why the EU supports the Ukrainian war so that it can get is hands on the farming output. In the long term countries cannot convert to socialism because they cannot control the economy with limited resources. This is the reason for the WEF because they realise that socialism needs a world government with complete control of everything and everybody.
We are now well on the way to this nightmare because the banking system which has been used to support the capitalist system is close to complete failure. The superrich know this which is why they are converting their money into assets. I cannot see any possibility of failing banks being bailed out again and many are close to failure. This means all our savings will vanish and those with mortgages will not own their houses. We will have a zombie economy for zombie people. We will get what we have sat back and watched happening.
They are filling the UK and the rest of the west with immigrants and migrants as they reduce the abilities of the farmers to produce food. Creating more people to feed but crippling the ability to feed them.
If there are serious food shortages, the people will split into their ethnic groups and wage war on one another in a battle for food and resources.
The UK used to have four fertiliser factories but is now down to one.
Fertiliser can be made into IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) that were used so successfully by the Taliban against the occupiers and by local Islamic terrorists here and elsewhere.
Therefore banning fertilisers will kill two birds with one stone – reduce the ability to provide food and get rid of the most abundant source of explosive material, which could be used against the perpetrators of all of these evil artificial crises themselves.
You cannot shame the evil or appeal to their humanity because that does not exist in them. My intuition tells me that we will eventually come out of this on top but that it is going to be an almighty struggle. What took place in Venezuela was no doubt a test run, but most of the west has a tendency to produce powerful leaders who are capable of dealing with situations of this base kind.
When it is over, the evil must be forced to endure everything they have tried to visit on us. Cold showers, drinking polluted water, eating bugs, going without heating in winter, etc.
In my opinion, it will be somewhat like what happens to the commandant in Franz Kafka’s short story, In the Penal Colony. Hanging is too good for the likes of them.

Remember when a riot in central London would have been front-page news? –

This is what the WEF means when it says �you will own nothing and be happy�. Just go and steal what you want and have some fun smashing things up at the same time. It�s also why you don�t see any shops in some areas.
Cold showers, eating bugs, no central heating, drinking polluted water , what ?? Sounds more like married life now that her indoors has moved back in and grabbed the cash strings. ( It’s the spam sandwiches, she can’t resist em ).
Still, the looting helps a bit now that the lecky has gone up to �5,800.00 a year and people like me are just supposed to get on with things on a pension of less than �10K a year.
None of these pin head politicians will explain to really stupid people like me where the extra �4,600.00 after tax is supposed to come from. Any thoughts Mr Millipede ?
I think these black yoofs doing the looting might just have given some of us an idea and I am going to see if the likes of EDF will allow me to set up a direct debit loot payment once a month so that we can dump the middle man and loot directly into my energy account. Every little helps, ching ching.
On another note, I emailed a Scottish Government quango that is supposed to protect disabled peoples rights and told them that my high street bank was forcing disabled people to stand in line for half an hour at a time by using an electric cattle prod, before they will be served.
I got an email back the very next day saying this was of no concern to the Scotish Government. Could this be because of filthy Tory cutbacks or because the quango employs lunatics ? I did not make this up.
