We all know that the whole issue of the origins of the Covid-19 Chinese plague has become highly politicised. Because Trump suggested that the virus was accidentally leaked from a filthy, unhygienic, badly-run lab at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the Trump-loathing, Biden-adoring mainstream media has shown a remarkable lack of interest in uncovering the origins of the greatest disaster to hit mankind since WWII. In particular, the US media has run a massive campaign to protect the top US medic, Dr Anthony Fauci.
The aim of a blog like this is not to comment on issues everyone else is blethering on about. There are enough people in our media with big opinions about everything. Instead, insignificant blogs like mine should be trying to dig out stories the mainstream media seems to ‘overlook’.
So, below is an Opinion article a certain Dr ‘Frankenstein’ Fauci wrote for the Washington Post on 30 December 2011. In his article Fauci explains that he is funding ‘gain of function’ research which is creating viruses that are not found in nature. The purpose of this research is to study how viruses develop in order to find ways of accelerating the development of vaccines. This is the research that Obama stopped because he considered it too dangerous. But the evidence suggests Fauci avoided the Obama moratorium by moving the project to the Chinese Wuhan Institute of Virology.
I have highlighted in red the bits I found the most interesting.
If you’re looking for a ‘smoking gun’ linking Fauci to the development of Covid-19, I don’t think you can do better than this article written by Fauci himself.
It’s astonishing that the Trump-despising BBC and C4 News seem to be unaware of this Fauci article as it took me less than 2 minutes to find it.

A flu virus risk worth taking
Anthony Fauci is director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Gary Nabel is director of the Vaccine Research Center at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Francis Collins is director of the National Institutes of Health.
A deadly�influenza virus has circulated widely in birds�in recent years,�decimating flocks but rarely spreading to humans. Nonetheless, because of its persistence in bird flocks, this highly pathogenic avian influenza virus has loomed as a major public health threat. Seasonal influenza kills less than 1 percent of the people it infects. In contrast, human infections with H5N1, though exceedingly rare, are�fatal in more than half of cases. Should this virus mutate in a way that allows it to be transmitted as efficiently among people as seasonal influenza viruses are, it could take an unprecedented toll on human life.
A number of important scientific and public health questions�regarding this virus remain unanswered, including the likelihood of such mutations arising and the mechanisms by which they may occur.�Two recent studies co-funded by the National Institutes of Health�have shed light on how this potentially grave human health threat could become a reality. Working carefully with influenza viruses they have engineered in isolated biocontainment laboratories, scientists in Europe and the United States have identified several mechanisms by which the virus might evolve to transmit efficiently in the ferret, the best animal model for human influenza infection. This research has allowed identification of genetic pathways by which such a virus could better adapt to transmission among people. This laboratory virus does not exist in nature. There is, however, considerable concern that such a virus could evolve naturally.�We cannot predict whether it or something similar will arise naturally, nor when or where it might appear.
Given these uncertainties, important information and insights can come from generating a potentially dangerous virus in the laboratory. While the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention provide excellent public health surveillance for novel influenza strains, influenza outbreaks still occur suddenly and in unexpected places. The recent H1N1 pandemic exemplifies the problem: In 2009, a new influenza virus emerged. It was shown to have originated from an animal reservoir, and it spread so rapidly that it strained the pharmaceutical industry�s capacity to prepare vaccines fast enough to blunt its spread. We do not fully understand the underlying factors that allow influenza viruses to be transmitted efficiently in humans after they emerge from different species. The ferret transmission studies were intended in part to fill these important gaps in knowledge.
Understanding the biology of influenza virus transmission has implications for outbreak prediction, prevention and treatment. In defining the mutations required for mammalian transmission, public health officials are provided with genetic signatures that, like fingerprints, could help scientists more readily identify newly emergent, potentially harmful viruses, track their spread and detect threatening outbreaks. The ability to identify such viruses even a few months faster than by conventional surveillance provides critical time to slow or stop an outbreak. For example, the CDC implements public health protective measures and stockpiles antiviral drugs. Identifying threatening viruses can also facilitate the early stages of manufacturing vaccines that protect against such a virus in advance of an outbreak.
In addition, determining the molecular Achilles� heel of these viruses can allow scientists to identify novel antiviral drug targets that could be used to prevent infection in those at risk or to better treat those who become infected. Decades of experience tells us that disseminating information gained through biomedical research to legitimate scientists and health officials provides a critical foundation for generating appropriate countermeasures and, ultimately, protecting the public health.
The question is whether benefits of such research outweigh risks. The answer is not simple. A highly pathogenic bird flu virus transmissible in humans could arise in ways not predicted by laboratory studies. And it is not clear whether this laboratory virus would behave in humans as it does in ferrets. Nonetheless, new data provide valuable insights that can inform influenza preparedness and help delineate the principles of virus transmission between species.
Along with support for this research comes a responsibility to ensure that the information is used for good. Safeguarding against the potential accidental release or deliberate misuse of laboratory pathogens is imperative. The engineered viruses developed in the ferret experiments are maintained in high-security laboratories. The scientists, journal editors and funding agencies involved are working together to ensure that access to specific information that could be used to create dangerous pathogens is limited to those with an established and legitimate need to know.

There has been concern about new viruses for years and how we can protect from them, so this letter makes sense. We all know that if nothing had been done and a virus appeared that there would have been criticism for failing to carry out research.
There is also no evidence to suggest that any laboratory created virus has leaked in America or Europe as a result of this research. The letter does not mention �gain of function� but this is what I understand it to be. Fauci has always denied funding gain of function research and perhaps he has a different view on what it is, but I haven�t heard him talking about that. I have not heard him say he has knowledge of it being carried out elsewhere.
All he discusses is that a potentially dangerous virus could be created. This must be what Obama was concerned about when he stopped federal funding for the research in 2014. But I haven�t seen anything that claims a dangerous virus had been created, and if it had why didn�t Obama ask for it to be destroyed? This is why I keep saying that Obama should be questioned. We know that there are a lot of patents for laboratory created corona like viruses in the USA but we do not know that any of them are dangerous.
One of the issues that concerns me is that if SARS Cov-2 is this virus, then why isn�t it more dangerous? All I see from evidence is that it has a significantly lower overall mortality rate than flu and for most people it is a very mild infection. Big Pharma, the media and health professionals have talked it up to be dangerous, and now we have an experimental and potentially dangerous vaccine being effectively forced on us.

The 1993 Nobel Prize for Chemistry was awarded to Dr Kary Mullis for the invention of the PCR test. He died, apparently of pneumonia, in August 2019, just before Covif-19 broke out.
Big Pharma needed a test for AIDS that it had attributed to the HIV virus. It chose to use the PCR test, just as it did for Covid-19.
This made Mullis investigate HIV as the cause of AIDS because he said later that his PCR test could not be used to diagnose a viral infection.
He knew many doctors and scientists but none of them could point him to any scientific papers that link HIV to AIDS. They had all said that they heard on the grapevine that the cause of AIDS was the HIV virus. Mullis himself could not find any scientific papers on why AIDS had been linked to the HIV virus.
Mullis said that HIV is a very rare virus that could not have disabled the human immune system, allowing the AIDS-related illnesses to do the killing. He said that a virus is a non-living collection of genetic material that could not have disabled the human immune system.
Mullis came to the conclusion that HIV, as the cause of AIDS, was the creation of Big Pharma so that it could sell expensive chemotherapy that brought it under control without providing inoculation.
Note well that no vaccine against the HIV virus has ever been developed since its alleged outbreak in the early 1980s. Why not given that the more recent Ebola has a vaccine?
He said that the illnesses that people were suffering from that were blamed on HIV and sexual transmission were mostly new diseases brought about by recent lifestyle choices, such as drug-taking and bad nutritional choices, that were weakening the immune system of the afflicted, not a single virus.
Mullis tried to get Fauci to debate with him, because he did not want his PCR test to be used to diagnose a viral disease that carried a death sentence if not treated. Fauci refused the offers. Mullis accused Fauci of knowing nothing about biochemistry. That he was just an administrator.

The deaths from Covid are also mostly from other illnesses and diseases that are attributed to Covid if the deceased had a PCR test 28 days before death.

The Kary Mullis video above implies that Big Pharma is not even interested in curing cancer because it is a cash cow, just as HIV is.
Apparently, giving terminal cancer patients 10,000mg of vitamin C daily, in people who have not had chemotherapy, produces encouraging results compared to the control group and Big Pharma tried to screw the research up.
Almost every aspect of life has become filled with filthy liars and cheats on the make and on the take.
As a general point, I have been saying for decades that it was only the ideological conflict of the Cold War that kept the capitalist West reasonably honest in its treatment of its citizens.
Once the competition of an ideological opponent was removed, there was no motive for any of the totally money-driven people always present in any society to show any restraint at all.
The people now in charge of Western society are fully as evil, criminal, and totalitarian as any of the Soviet or Nazi leaders were. They only difference is that they now have the full range of technology of mainstream and social media to drive their agenda, and all the techniques of modern PR to disguise their motives and ultimate goals.
It is no coincidence that only in European countries that were once ground under the heel of Soviet Communism do we see any stirrings of opposition to the current, seemingly unstoppable drive towards totalitarianism.
