In all those years the EU has been working hard to end the system of European federalism in the sense of productively competing sovereign nation states, trying to replace it by a centralized political, economic, and financial superpower in Brussels.
However, the EU’s interventionist approach has brought about a rather dismal situation as far as economic and financial matters in many EU countries are concerned: mass unemployment, public finances in disarray, and miserable growth perspectives.
The height of the EU’s fateful megalomania was the introduction of the euro in 1999: the currencies of nation states entering the European Monetary Union were replaced by a single currency, the euro, issued by a single central bank, the European Central Bank (ECB).
Right from the start, the ECB let loose a colossal debt binge, which has left broken states, banks, and consumers. To cover up the mess, the ECB has lowered rates to below zero and keeps printing money — the only options left for preventing the euro from coming crashing down.
The ECB’s policy doesn’t do any good apart from covering up the problems for a while. The truth is that it causes a shortage of savings and investment, overconsumption and malinvestments on the grandest scale, thereby destroying the very pillars on which prosperity rests. ”
In The Breakdown of Nations (1957), Kohr points out that small states are more productive and peaceful than large states, and that virtually all political and social problems could be greatly reduced by dissolving large states into a great many small states.
Viewed against Mises’s interventionism critique, and Kohr’s insight that a super-state is the root cause of all economic and political evil, there are strong reasons for Britain to exit the EU, to steer free from an ideology that will not, that cannot, turn out to be successful.
Two Reasons Why Brexit Is Better
In fact, a Brexit would be good for at least two reasons.
First, it might help to put an end to a dead-end policy as more member states may decide to opt out, thereby raisingthe perspective of the EU being returned to a free-market productive competition system among regions.
Second, and more fundamental, the mere debate about Brexit highlights the fact that the state (as we know it today: namely as a territorial monopolist of coercion with ultimate decision-making power) is basically always the problem, not the solution.
Today’s nation state runs counter to individual freedom. It cannot be reconciled with the idea of individual freedom. The situation becomes much worse once nation states start teaming up, trying to unify their power into a single state-structure — like the EU.
In sum, there shouldn’t be any fear of a Brexit on the part of those seeking freedom and economic prosperity. On the contrary. A Brexit may hold the key to make Europe abandon a doomed course, bringing it to its senses and back onto the road of freedom and prosperity.

European Council president Jean-Claude Juncker proves just how scary it is to belong in the EU.
Juncker actually stated your vote should be ignored, unless of course you agree with him.
In effect Juncker anointed himself the “All-Knowing God of the EU.”

The arrogant gall of Juncker is would be nearly beyond belief for anyone else, but for Juncker, lies coupled with extreme arrogance are the norm.

Thwarted at every turn in their efforts to reach Britain, migrants in northern France have once again changed tack, turning to flimsy dinghies to carry them across the Channel.
Migrants in Calais have sneaked into trucks or trains, and even tried to walk through the undersea tunnel in increasingly risky — and sometimes deadly — attempts to reach Britain.

Nigel Farage, the leader of UKIP, has slammed the Prime Minister for using the death of Jo Cox MP for political gain in the EU referendum campaign, and “trying to conflate the actions of one individual with the motives of half of Britain”.
Speaking on LBC radio, Mr. Farage first acknowledged how the tragic and shocking murder had taken momentum out of the Leave campaign, and explained:
“What we’re seeing is the Prime Minister and the Remain campaign trying to conflate the actions of one crazed individual with the motives of half of Britain who think we should get back control of our borders and do it sensibly.”

Turkish Police Fire Tear Gas, Rubber Bullets at Gay Pride Parade.
ISTANBUL (AP) — Turkish police fired tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse demonstrators who gathered Sunday for a gay pride rally in Istanbul despite a government ban.
Dozens of participants advocating transgender rights assembled off Istiklal Street, a major commercial artery, some brandishing rainbow flags.
Police called on them to disperse and prevented activists from marching or making statements. A couple of individuals were detained.
More than 300 policemen in anti-riot gear and backed by water cannons were deployed along the pedestrian thoroughfare and on side streets.
Istanbul’s governor had banned gay, lesbian and transgender individuals from holding two annual parades this year, both Sunday’s seventh Trans Pride March and a broader LGBT pride parade on June 26.
In a statement that they were prevented from reading publicly, Trans Pride organizers said the community was “terrorized by both the state and puritanical groups.”

It’s hard to know with Merkel. You compare her with Hitler but is she a Fascist, a Communist or just plain bonkers?
She favours the fascistic economic model of unhealthy union between big business and big government and appears to want to provoke a war with Russia but she also seems to want to recreate the USSR so maybe more a Communist. History teaches that in terms of final body counts, that is even worse. Architect: Demolish Churches, Replace With Mosques To Integrate Migrants
A prominent German architect has said that in order to better integrate migrants, churches should be demolished and very “visible” mosques be built in their place.
Interviewed in Die Tageszeitung, Joaquim Reinig said he believes Hamburg needs to build more mosques. He said mosques “actively integrate” migrants who the authorities can’t reach.

British hate preacher Anjem Choudary – who is currently facing charges of supporting Islamic State – has told Breitbart London that he thinks the United Kingdom should stay in the European Union .
If you want my view on it, I think Britain will be worse off,” Mr. Choudary (pictured above) told Breitbart London.

The very top of the British political establishment has sought to link the murder of Jo Cox MP with the Brexit campaign. Arguing, against logic, and potentially in contempt of court, that the “politics of hate” and a UKIP poster were somehow responsible.
So by their logic, surely David Cameron, Jeremy Corbyn, and their parliamentary colleagues will now take responsibility for the alleged attempted murder of Donald Trump by a British man.
Michael Steven Sandford approached a Las Vegas police officer at a campaign event in an attempt to take his weapon and shoot the Republican presumptive candidate.
The Prime Minister has previously described Mr. Trump as “divisive, stupid and wrong”, but it is really the “tone” (as we keep hearing from the other side of the Brexit debate) of Members of Parliament debating a UK ban on Donald Trump.
