I used to work as a kitchen/shopfitter for MFI & what you are saying is 100% on the money. Eventually they managed to bankrupt a once successful business.
I’ve never trusted consultants as they have always long since disappeared before finding out the results of their advice. Hence there is no mechanism by which they can learn from experience.
Those who call in Consultants, I consider to have surrendered any respect or pretence of competence. They are almost certainly unfit to be running a business.
We’ve come a long way from tying up the useless well away from the cave mouth.

Thanks. I love it when people confirm that my irreverent, politically-incorrect ramblings are actually horrifically close to the truth
